Riga is a cool town... A labyrinth of cobblestone streets between Gothic churches and medieval monuments, you can easily imagine that you are back in the days of the Hanseatic League, where Riga was a major port on the Baltic seeing German, Flemish, Swedish, Russian, Dutch, English and other merchants on any given day.
But it is not a time-in-a-bottle city - it also manages to shed its recent communist past and present an outrageous nightlife, and a great place for good value shopping & good inexpensive beer!
Riga hotels
Riga is not yet under a regulated quality system for accommodation, thus things can be a bit hit-or-miss; however we have a couple of selected hotels which are sure to satisfy!
